The Smithsonian Institute National Air and Space Museum features rotating exhibits on the many facets of flight and aviation. "How Things Fly" deals with the mechanism and the physics of flight.
A cut away section of a Cessna plane provides visitors with a firsthand cockpit experience.
As in any high density traffic area, controlling the flux of visitors and pacing out the information gathering experience has provided this exhibit with the resilience it needed to stay "new", even after 20 years of display life!
